lazy rainy saturdays...

are awesome because i get to lay around the apartment all day and not feel guilty about it.

I was in New york yesterday for a meeting and then shopping for work, the
meeting went well, shopping started well in Soho we hit Topshop and Eryn Brinie before trying to get a cab to Brooklyn... i was pretty desperate to get back to 10 foot single by Stella Dallas- This place is RiDicULouS!! it reminds me of shopping for vintage in Tokyo, the shop staff are
super cute, all styled out and effortlessly cool, the clientele seemed to be pretty rad too... there were stylists shopping in there but i couldn't figure out who they worked for, a couple of Japanese guys with the cutest girl trying on fedoras, and some old rocker looking at leather
goods, prices are very reasonable and the stuff they have in there is all good, i literally wanted the whole store, they've crammed so much cool shit in there that its impossible to walk out empty handed. Last time i went i shopped for work and myself and i woke up the next morning with that place on my mind- which is funny because it reminded me of how it feels to have a crush on some hot guy, when hes the first thing u think of in the morning, and you lay there daydreaming about last night...ha! that was me the next morning... that's it! i have a crush on 10 foot single... and i cant wait to get back there!

but.. alas... we didn't even make it to Brooklyn, the weather sucked pretty bad yesterday and we were getting drenched in the rain, laden with Topshop bags trying to get a cab on Broadway, you'd think it would be easy but i guess they change drivers between 4 and 5 and no one wants to take a fare all the way over the bridge to Brooklyn- apparently not even when they are a bunch of 3 cute girls (one hot ass blond bombshell, one cute little indie rocker chick and one husky British accent) so we decided to scratch that and head for the bar...

Happy hour at Nolita House (http://www.nolitahouse.com/), this was sweet because we got to start drinking beer at 4pm on the cheap, their food is decent too, we shared a margarita pizza then when 5pm rolled around the full menu kicked in and we tried their calamari (decent- not mind blowing), lobster bake mac and cheese (super super good!!) and the spinach and artichoke dip (f-ing AMAZE!!- seriously i think i could just live off that shit for the rest of my life)
